In a first of its kind,the Government of West Bengal has decided to rationalize the entire admission process in to first semester admission to the Colleges in West Bengal. In this regard, the Government of West Bengal, Higher Education Department has decided to implement a Centralized Admission System. Regarding this the Gazette Notification is made public and is set to be implemented from this academic session 2024-25.
WBCAP 2025: WB College Admission 2025 Centralized Admission Notice
WBCHSE Higher Secondary Result 2025 is already declared. Around 9 lakhs students passed the examination and will go for admission to different colleges in West Bengal. Now, to administer this whole process in a fair and transparent manner, the Govt of West Bengal has implemented the WB Centralized College Admission 2025. In this regard, the West Bengal Government has launched a Centralized College Admission Portal which will bring a lot of changes in the entire admission system. Highlights of WB College Centralized Admission 2025 which will be implemented due to this are as under –
- Candidates can Apply Online as per their convenience.
- Candidate can apply for multiple colleges and multiple courses through a single application.
- The applicant can set a preference of colleges and courses instead of applying to multiple colleges,.
- Multiple Merit List for admission in West Bengal Colleges.
WB Centralised College Admission 2025 Application Process
- At first, the applicant should visit the WBCAP 2025 Official website at wbcap.in
- The homepage of the WBCAP 2025 Admission portal opens on the screen.
- Now, at the beginning, every admission seekers should Register to the portal.
- For this, click on Register.
- Now, enter the personal details and submit the data.
- Thus, the Login ID and password will be created and delivered to email entered and through SMS at the registered mobile number.
- Applicant should login now to the WBCAP (West Bengal College Admission Process) 2025 portal using the credentials.
- After login, enter the educational details, select the course and college according to preference (if applying for more than one college), upload photo and signature.
- In the next phase, the applicant should recheck the entered information and submit the form on confirmation.
- Finally, every applicant should take a print of the WB College Admission 2025 Application Form for record.
WB Centralised College Admission 2025 (WBCAP 2025) – Participating Universities
Almost all of the State Universities in West Bengal are participating in WB Centralised College Admission 2025. However, Jadavpur University and Presidency University will continue to have its Admission Rules. During the announcement of WB College Admission 2025 through centralized mode, the Minister of Higher Education, Govt of West Bengal has stated that the Admission Portal will be launched by WBCHSE. Thus, we can assume that the Council will undertake the complete process in this regard. West Bengal State Council of Higher Education (WBSCHE) has launched the West Bengal College Centralized Admission Portal @ wbcap.in. Therefore, all of the interested admission seekers must visit the website to submit the application form. WBCAP মেধাতালিকা 2025 প্রকাশের পর কী করতে হবে?
শিক্ষার্থীরা WBCAP পোর্টালে নিবন্ধন করে কলেজ অ্যাডমিসিনের অর্ধেক প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন করেছে। এইভাবে, মেধা তালিকা প্রকাশের পর, পছন্দ অনুযায়ী কোর্স ও কলেজ বরাদ্দ করা ছাত্রছাত্রী এবং পছন্দের কলেজ ও কোর্স পাওয়া প্রার্থীদের অবশ্যই অনলাইনে ভর্তি প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন করতে হবে। এই বিষয়ে, WBCAP Portal ভর্তির সময়সূচী ঘোষণা করবে। সুতরাং, প্রত্যেক প্রার্থীকে পোর্টালে লগইন করতে হবে এবং প্রক্রিয়াটি সম্পূর্ণ করতে হবে। অনুগ্রহ করে মনে রাখবেন যে কলেজে নথিগুলির শারীরিক যাচাইয়ের জন্য আপনাকে নিম্নলিখিত নথিগুলি প্রস্তুত রাখতে হবে।
